A nice variety of albums here, i must admit i'm surprised to see Yugen get the most votes of the two first round polls. Great album though.
Gotta give my vote to Russian Circles since One Shot is gone.

Difficult decision between PFM, Sylvan and The Tangent, but ultimately, I'm going with The Tangent.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I guess Amputechture didn't make it Unhappy. No matter, I'll vote Russian Circles again.

That would be my pick between those three but they're all really good.

Don't remind me that i chose :(
It was difficult, but The Tangent is one the bands that i think really nail "modern symphonic"
They don't have the cheesy HP or Metal influences, which really annoys me. I see the album as an absolute masterpiece in the music scene in general. I rather listen to it than any Yes album.

Yay Yugen support.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I completely agree with you about The Tangent, i'm such a big Tillison fan and i really enjoy his earlier stuff too with Parallel Or 90 Degrees. He's been posting a lot about this new album he's working on that it will be his legacy. He's lost band members over it too but there is no compromises with this one apparently.

Yea i actually checked the website for the first time to see if there was any new info about it. I'm quite curious who the bassist is if they're taking so long to announce or decide who it is. I'm also curious to hear how Gavin does. He hasn;t disappointed yet!
