Do you know that in Chester there's still a law: if you see a Welsh inside the city walls you can shoot him an arrow in the back.....

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

That is, hilariously, true. A local law which has never been repealed.

I've always wanted to visit York.

I do have Scottish ancestry though...

But you're from South Wales. That law doesn't specify, but I think it applies more to the Northerns LOL
However, it's true. Somebody told me that in Chester (We were with a Welsh friend) and I've read it also on a website reporting all the strange laws which haven't been canceled during the centuries. I don't remember the URL, unfortunately.

Good. That gives me the excuse I need (just so long as you're inside the city walls after dark and I can borrow a good longbow). Especially so since Mostly Autumn are a York band!

Of these, it's "Shrinking Violet." However, my favorite Mostly Autumn track is "Half the Mountain" (video below) sung by the guy in the band. It sounds like a song that belongs on THE DIVISION BELL - and would be better than many of the songs that *are* on that album.

I like her version of AFTERGLOW.

Despite the band is extremely high, she manages to offer a great rendition, saving what could have been a monumental disaster.
