I believe that Heather Findlay is one of the finest female vocalists I've ever heard, and this is a major part of why I love Mostly Autumn so much (and still do with Olivia Sparnenn, by the way).

Which of these amazing tracks showcases her talent best, in your opinion?

I just couldn't vote against Evergreen.  Such a beautiful song and Heather's voice makes it so.  For a rockier number, I would choose Caught In a Fold (not on your list).
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I had to read your post to figure out who she is, i don't think Mostly Autumn is really popular.

I like Heather Finlay's voice, she's really good..

But never paid special attention to any of their songs.

Now if you ask me about Christina Booth, Annie Haslam, Agnieszka Swita, Katherine Blake, Susie Bogdanowicz or Sonja Christina...That's another story.

I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Relax and take a deep breath, man. I don't even know who she is. Do you know who Harold Budd is?

Me: Never heard of her or Mostly Autumn ... or any of their songs. I'll look them up some time soon.

Sigh..............

Heather has a wonderful voice. I still think Shrinking Violet is one of the finest tracks ever recorded and highlights this exceptional talent very wellClap

Probably one of the biggest active prog acts in the UK; last album hit the charts (OK, at a low level, but one of the few prog acts to do so); played High Voltage; featured regularly in Classic Rock's prog magazine, won the Classic Rock society's best band and best album titles in 2010 (and have won many other titles in the past) - no, they're neither well known nor popular, obviously.

Well not, apparently, by some on here. In the real world of prog, they are. Sadly, not yet to the wider public, but they're not quite to the taste of those who like Justin Bieber, are they?

I'm sure she is a wonderful vocalist. Don't like this band though so no vote.

Yes I do. But not to my taste at all, like most avant garde music.

Wasn't it for Ayreon, I wouldn't have discovered this band through Heather Findlay years ago. And for the last half year, I've been listening through their discography and found a lot of great favourites. It's not many bands that I find playing beautiful progressive rock, IMO. I'm sure they deserve a little more buzz for this sort of achievement...!

As for this poll, it's gonna be a tough decision but Shrinking Violet holds a special place in my heart with Heather's voice invoking an innocent and affectionate spirit within the song.
