Regular: no milk, no sugar. But at whiles I may like an espresso/ristretto or a cappuccino.

There are some half decent instant coffees, but for preference, a good strong black coffee made fresh; no sugar, no cream (occasionally the tiniest drop of milk).

One of God's great gifts to the world.

Aha - I have a fellow sufferer:

Described perfectly - luckily for me, coffee does not appear to be a trigger.

Caffeine generally helps my migraines go away.

Of course, you're not paying for the coffee, you're paying for the significant labor costs and for the designer cup.  If that's not worth 3 pounds, what is? [/sarcasm]

My coffee machine started acting up yesterday, and it appears there was a problem with it today too.  Seems the power shuts off before it's finished brewing.  Possibly a short circuit.  It created a bit of a panic this morning as I kept turning it back on so it could finish.  Probably time for a new machine.

As far as I know it is strictly female baristas. I read they just shut one down for getting a little carried away with the whipping cream.
