Hi Guys My music project "Purple" now has three self-released albums, which you can stream and download for free through http://www.purplemusic.org/ I'm a multi-instrumentalist (guitars, basses, mandolin, drums, percussion, keyboards, and several others) and I decided to make music that I would personally love to listen to. It has turned out a bit like Mike Oldfield crossed with Pink Floyd and Camel with some Yes/Gentle Giant influences, and a splash of folk and world music thrown in for good measure. I do epic multi-section tracks (longest is "11 Bells" at 60 minutes) in concept albums that make complete sense to me! I have spent a long time crafting the music to get it just right, and am currently working on album no. 4. Oh, my name is Dan, and I'm based in a small town in the far north of England. I'm just looking for new listeners, a little bit of promotion. If anyone feels like commenting or even reviewing I'd be over the moon. If you have a page for the band on progarchives, then I would be more than happy to review your album. :)
if you don't have an account then make one and send me a private message with the link to it, thank you. Edited by FenderX - February 25 2013 at 15:01 |
