Topic: Best Album Name Posted: March 01 2013 at 18:11 |
What do you think the best prog album titles are, independent of the actual music on the album? Titles that make you think or move you in themselves or that just sound awesome.
Some of my favorites:
The Light That Dwells In Rotten Wood (Falls of Rauros) The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place (Explosions In the Sky) Lateralus (Tool) Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven (GY!BE) Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (The Beatles) Feel Euphoria (Spock's Beard) Larks' Tongues in Aspic (King Crimson)

I tried disregarding music as well as cover art, which was very tough to do.
Yes - Tales from Topographic Oceans Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways Van Der Graaf Generator - The Least We Can Do Is Wave to Each Other King Crimson - Larks' Tongues in Aspic King Crimson - Starless and Bible Black Genesis - Wind and Wuthering Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos
