That's funny - IMO 'Love Beach' is a lot better than 'In The Hot Seat'........Confused

Agree with both you guys. None of em are really good imo, but Hot Seat is perhaps one of the biggest crimes against silence ever recorded.

Floyd just above Genesis? Floyd is always good. Invisible Touch is not that bad either, imho definitely not Genesis' worst, but it has a few weak moments.

Going with the leader here, King Crimson.  It may be their lowest rated but it is still a great album.

You would have to be severely aurally disabled to consider Beat the worst anything

I reviewed this album a while ago with 4 stars - I would've given it a 5, were it not for the superior 'Discipline' album.  I thought I would get hate-mail......................I LOVE Beat.  Love the blue cover with the pink crochet on it. Bruford is out of this world on it.

Under Wraps. Clever songwriting and excellent lyrics, as usual.

I didn't vote for it, but I do enjoy the album.  At least they did something different on it.  So many artists and bands get so wrapped in what they should sound like, they neglect expanding their sound.  Different is not always an improvement, but for longtime fans such as myself I do like to see them mix it up a little bit.  I stopped seeing them live because I got tired of paying good money to see the same concert over and over again.

Damn it, Reading all those posts now made me realized that I got it all wrong, I thought I was suppose to vote for the worst album and not my favorite. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

Beat.

Lapse in an excellent album.

I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

indeed although Love Beach is recognisable as an ELP album at least

ITHS was meant to save the ailing Victory Records at the time. Emerson and Palmer could both barely play after having just had operations on their hands. Oh dear oh dear oh dearOuch
