Okay lets get 2007 over with. I'm sure PT wins this but we'll see.

I'll save my vote to see if it will help take down PT.

Funny thing is, John, of these, only Fear of a Blank Planet (#6) and Night (#9) are even in my 2007 Top 20!

Alanmailman Wassuuuuuuuuup.
I think I prefer Nil Recurring to Fear of a Blank Planet. I still love em both though. I saw them the first time on that tour, and they were brilliant. Good memories.

A couple i didn't include only because i knew they wouldn't get any attention are MAR DE ROBLES' Indigena and VIOLETA DI OUTONO's Volume Seven. The latter is probably my fav of 2007. Now being a PT fanboy i have no problem picking them here. Again 2008 is a much better year for me so i'm looking forward to see what happens with those polls.
What was your number one Drew ?

I never cared for Fear Of A Blank Planet or most of Porcupine Tree albums. Had to go with Beardfish on this one but I really have to get that Maahan album, I have only one MV album.

2007 was the year that I discovered this site, didn't really start posting for a year, but year, I rediscovered Prog in the middle of 07.  There are so many fantastic releases from this year, "Doomsday Afternoon" and 'Ziltoid' both would have gotten the nod as my number one over the choices here.  If this poll had been offered to me in the 201x's I'd have happily voted "Night" by Gazpacho.  Being as I discovered "Sleeping in Traffic, Part 1" in 2010 and it still blows me away, it gets my vote.  Regardless, this was a fantastic year for me.

Anekdoten by far for me. The Morse and the PT albums were pretty weak by their strong standards.
