I'm sure many of you will have heard of the famous Friars Aylesbury club and some of you will have attended gigs there. They have arranged for Steve Hackett to play as part of his Genesis Revisited tour, at the Aylesbury Waterside theatre on 9th May. Looks like there are still plenty of tickets available from here - http://www.atgtickets.com/shows/steve-hackett-genesis-revisited/aylesbury-waterside-theatre

Steve Hackett has played at several Friars Aylesbury gigs before, as it was just about the second home for Genesis back in the early 70s, with their first gig there on April 13th 1970.

I'm glad he's touring. I'm sad that the closest approach he'll make to Australia this year is Japan. Maybe he'll come to Bluesfest soon as some of his progressive contemporaries have done (Jethro Tull, Yes, Jon Anderson...)

I don't know who changed the thread title but there is already a thread about this as the  tour was announced last year. So it isn't exactly news.

This is an additional gig not announced as part of the tour. In fact it could be described as a tour warm-up. Best thing is, I can walk there in 15 minutes!
