District 97 is incredibly thrilled to be teaming up with the legendary John Wetton (King Crimson/UK/Asia) for a series of European shows!  We'll be playing a bunch of D97 material, and also teaming up with John for a selection of King Crimson classics that he hasn't sung live in decades.  It sounds a little something like this:

Here are the dates:

Spring 2013 European Tour
11/5-Kingston-upon-Thames, UK @ Celebr8.2 Festival (District 97 without Wetton)

District 97 with Special Guest John Wetton (Featuring the music of King Crimson)
15/5-Reichenbach, Germany @ Bergkeller
16/5-Verviers, Belgium @ Spirit of 66
17/5-Russelsheim, Germany Das Rind
18/5-Zoetermeer, Netherlands Boerderij Cultuurpodium

Hope to see some people out!

Holy @!&$!
He looks a bit dazed, there, but his voice is as good as ever!

Like seeing him putting his very good voice to good use and doing this kind of thing rather than beating the dead horse known as Asia.

It's stretching it a little bit to call this a "tour" don't you think?

It's their first time playing in Europe, cut them some slack.

Wish I could see this with Wetton live.D97 played a superb cover of Lament at the Baltimore show last time I saw them.
