Love that Neil Young one, so he gets my vote. Brilliant music for when the seasons change and sunshine suddenly gets on the menu again.

Went with the Sabbaths. While the Hackett is a great one, I think the Sabbath album is better driving music.

Decade really is one of the best compilations ever put together of a major artist. And in retrospect, it probably did establish him as a major artist on the level of Dylan, simply because it drove home the fact that he had enough "greatest hit" material in 10 years to fill 3 LPs.

It is absolutely astonishing to think of just how many brilliant songs he's made, that I can sing along to. Songs that are memorable, yet also some that are heavy as hell and completely different from his usual self. Things like Weld and Mirrorball fx. Maybe he hasn't got a "usual self" come to think of it
One album of his that I've continued to come back to over the years is Zuma. I looooooove Zuma

I think Neil Young's Decade shows many highlights of a big musical talent. Maybe Zep, early or latter, could compete, and nice to see that you listen to Peter Banks, but Neil: this vote's for you.

"Don't Cry No Tears" is a big favorite of mine from Zuma. Like Neil said in his liner notes about "Heart of Gold": "This song put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon
became a bore so I headed for the ditch. A rougher ride but I saw more
interesting people there."
That sums up Young's career pretty well, I think. He hangs with the mainstream for a while, then heads into the ditch for a while. Just to keep life interesting.
