The emails have been sent!  I'm downloading a lossless copy of Hubardo as I type.  And I know how I will be spending the rest of the day (weekend?) Smile

I'm only halfway through, but I'm prepared to say that this is as good as Coyote and Choirs....

Starting my first listen now!  I meant to listen on the big stereo but I forgot the amp was turned off and I usually like to let it warm up for at least 30 minutes for best results.  So it's on the dinky laptop, but enjoying it anyway!

2nd Listen > 1st Listen

usually happens that way with KD for me.

I thought Vision Adjustment to Another Wavelength was humanely impossible before I heard Zlida Caosgi.

I think after repeated listens (yes, im going there) Hubardo may be > and/or = Choirs depending on my mood. This is a big statement from me, since Choirs is in my top 25 albums. We'll see a month from now.

Yea you can't rate an album after a day or two
A real rating, imo, comes from time.

Sure it doesn't have to be two months or something but obviously an album is either going to sound groundbreaking or just awful on early listens much more than after a while.

Very true.  And an album like this is just so strange sounding anyway, that I detect a lot of us are keeping relatively quiet about our reactions to it until it's had time to sink in.  I still don't know what to say about it, except that I'm compelled to keep listening to it.
