Topic: motW vs Kayo Dot Posted: March 16 2013 at 21:36 |
Toby Driver's two main bands. Hell of a difficult choice for me. I think I'll go with motW by just a fraction of a hair.

^ Nice lyrics, Mecca is a great track!
I haven't really heard enough out of either band to make a decision here. Though what I have heard hasn't really grabbed me, but that could change... in time.

Kayo Dot for sure. Used to be maudlin, but my tastes have changed so much since the last time I was really into either of these guys. Still love both, but I find myself listening to Kayo Dot a lot more. I really have to be in the right mood for them though.

Kayo Dot, though it's like choosing which arm you'd rather keep.

I made a top 50 favourite albums of all time list recently. Bath was #3, while Choirs of the Eye was #2. I choose Kayo Dot overall too. Used to hate them, now I love them. Very close though.

maudlin of the Well is an incredible band, but Kayo Dot has so much more depth and beauty in every way
