Fairuz Derin Bulut
Turkish Psychedelic Band.
"They have always made music with the instinct which completely ignores notions like boundries, rules and genres. Basic formation process of their music starts from improvisation and binds to composition.
At first, genres like rock, oriental, funk, arabesque, pavillion music were taken as base; and then they made compositions with the logic to use every ...
sound on earth that a human being’s ear could hear. Their music shows that there could be songs about fear, comedy or not only abstract but also concrete objects besides songs about love, amity, breaking up or betrayal. The aim is to express the other feelings and moods of people."

Demir Kerem Atay / electric guitar, electric baglama, vocal
Okan Yilmaz / synthesizer
Taha Rıza Özmen / bass guitar
Onur Öztürk / drums

Can't really see this band in Prog Folk tbf. I reckon they do belong here, and they class themselves as psychedelic, but even in that sub I have my doubts...I would have thought maybe Crossover might be more appropriate? Their music touches a fair few bases, and might even be worth considering for Eclectic, I suppose. Tough one for me, this...Needs a more expert opinion, I think.  Embarrassed  Chris?...Keishiro? Ermm

A very strong case for Eclectic IMHO. There are some elements of folk and folk rock, but that's not where this music comes from.

May well end up in Eclectic but they class themselves as Psychedelic, their main influences include Barrett/Floyd, Amon Düül II, Erkin Koray, and the music mixes garage rock, spacey effects, lots of Hammond organ, Eastern influence... I think the Psych Team should have a listen first.
