One only needs to listen to VDGG's 'Trisector' or 'A grounding In Numbers' (both still great albums IMO), or 'Alt', to hear something 'special' is missing...............

That's the performance where they were forced to do 'Plague', section by section ??  You can see Hammill's 'grand finale' when he looks at the camera as if to say a sarcastic 'happy now' as he raises his glass ??

If it's about sax being crucial for the band's sound it has to be VdGG, regardless of many other great performers.
