I got into this lad in 1991 after his righteously fabulous record, "Ah Via Musicom" came out.  I have seen him
4 times and I wish I had seen him 400 times. he is that good.

	I too have been listening to him since I first heard Cliffs of Dover on the radio, and saw Eric Johnson a couple of years ago at a club in Sacramento. Yee-gods, what a player. Great tone and incredibly smooth. In complete control. So polished your ears may very well need shades (heh). I highly reccommend seeing him if you have the opportunity, especially if he does not tour Europe often. It will be loud.
