As per many enthusiastic reviewers, an ambient pop band called Sigur Rós can make "killer prog" with what sounds like a $89.99 keyboard and some half-hearted meowing. Could one blow a vuvuzella in a proggity-proggous-proggly way?

The only case I can think of where people are 'Misinterpreting the term Prog' is when they call the band Shakti a Prog-Rock Band. I've listened to them and I didn't hear any Electric Guitars, or Electric Bass, or Rock-Styled Drums, or even Drum Machines.
Without any of those instruments, I couldn't ever consider Shakti a Rock Band.
