Hard choice, since both are important, not only as part of Tull's catalog, but as representatives of progressive rock from the 70s.

Aqualung is my fav JT album. I don't love TAAB too much. I think it would have been a fantastic 20 minutes epic without some parts that to me sound as fillers. Aqualung is simply perfect instead.

I like Aqualung - some great acoustic songs - but it doesn't match TAAB (or a APP and Minstrel)

The two are great albums, Aqualung is a classic of classic rock and TAAB of prog rock. Personnaly I prefer TAAB which is an unmatched masterpiece

... There are only two songs on Aqualung that I've heard on the radio.

This I don't actually like Aqualung. 3 listens and I'm already thinking of so much of the material as forgettable or (personally) uninspiring.

It took me a long time to get TAAB, but I'm totally hooked now. I've always thought Aqualung was a great album. TAAB by a whisker.
