A band I recently stumbled across, I think they may fit all the categories personally. Elements of stoner, doom and death along with prog metal.

http://seasonofmistcatalogue.bandcamp.com/album/heart-of-oak -- Their entire album 'Heart of Oak' is available here for listening.

I could see how they wouldn't make it in, but I think they satisfy all the requirements so I figured I'd throw it out there and see what other people think.

Even if it doesn't have a home here, it should be more than welcome at MetalMusicArchives.

By all the categories, I mean all the categories that allow it to be classified prog, not that it fits all prog categories... In case anyone was confused by that badly worded sentence...

Tricky band, in that I'm not sure if I'd consider them experimental/post or tech/extreme yet, but feel they qualify for either...leaning towards the latter.

Just got it last week.

Anciients sounds like what I was hoping Mastodon would sound like when I picked up 'Crack The Skye' a few years back. I don't dislike Mastodon, but they aren't what I generally choose to listen to.

This Anciients - Heart Of Oak album though....my album of 2013 so far Smile
