I voted for Schubert, even before Beethoven and Mozart. His "Winterreise" moves me so much. Haydn was, according to Leonard Bernstein, the greatest musical joker of them all, by the way, and I have to agree there. Who says classical music has to be serious always?

Showing some love for Weber, surely the most overlooked Classical/Romantic transition composers. Great operas, concerti, and dance music.
