My name's Kyle or or Sasquatch as I was deemed in High School. I believe that most of mankind cannot comprehend the very world they live in. I also believe that just because you can't see something doesn't mean that it cannot exist. But  let's move on.

Modern society is full of media that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of people looking for something full and awe inspiring. But when you dig deep into the darkest of holes you will always find a gem. And those gems have slowly revealed themselves to me over the past few years. I am young, but I believe I am more wise than 90% of my peers. And am able to spell words fully and correctly. :)

The styles of music I listen to are mostly forms of rock and metal, my favorite being Prog. Rock and Prog. Metal. You know, Tool, Rishloo, Fair To Midland, Meshuggah, Dead Letter Circus, and others that fall into the same category. This style of music is the most underrated in my opinion and also is the most thought-provoking and inspiring music that I've ever listened to. And sadly the most thought-dulling music is what people these days crave. Why do they crave it? Maybe to fill the empty void inside themselves. But how can you fill emptiness when with what you want to fill it with is also empty?

But the reason I love Prog. Rock and Metal is that I used to have depressive cycles. I would be happy for about two years and then fall into a deep depression for about five, feeling empty and soulless. And this happened two times. But when I first listened to the band Tool, all was washed away. And from thereon I went on a personal musical expedition to dig deep and find new and lesser heard of artists. The expedition into discovering "real" music.

Thanks for reading, Kyle~

Ah, another like-minded brother. Hey, it's just their way of having a good time. Some people dig minimalism in its popular form.

Anyway, welcome to the school. Watch out for FBI.

Let's try something from the darker side of prog as a welcome greet for you then. Multinational duo Haiku Funeral should be a good case of just that.
