Invisible Touch. But many albums by both are great.

There was some quite vociferous outcry at the time of Peter Gabriel's departure from Genesis in 1975. Some critics and fans were predicting a complete fade-out of the remaining Genesis members from the public eye. This we can now plainly see was terribly mistaken - BUT did Gabriel's pursuit of artistic independence and musical integrity most benefit himself, OR the new incarnation(s) of Genesis, who were driven to progress and further develop in compensation for his loss? Progressive (Instrumentation, Playing Technique, Technology), Compositional (Uniqueness of Structure, Melodic/Harmonic Development, Musicality, etc.), and Lyrical (Vocal Delivery, Emotional Appeal, Subject Matter, etc.) considerations are all on the table.
