OK, let's shove some listology on the work of a rather minor prog group for a change. This is an Irish Symph Prog band I'm checking out. OK, the first two albums are not very bad; got their own highlights. Hope this listology will help some Fruupp virgins out there get the hang of the band.

Go.

P.S.: Yes, I'm aware of the fact of how wildly and widely unpopular this band is, but that shouldn't stop you if you know their dough well, right?

Dayvenkirk, we've actually got a `Fruupp Appreciation Thread' someone on this Forum too, to helps delude us that Fruupp are more popular than they probably really are! A few of us try to keep it chugging along from time to time!

They're a wonderful charming band who put out 4 superb albums, I'll have to report back with a personal top 10 of tracks shortly!

I'm a loser ... I forgot again to check for any similar threads. Embarrassed ... Nonetheless, ... scribble away.

I'm the same, Sagi! I tend to listen to albums beginning to end, so a lot of the time I don't even get to learn the names of songs. Sometimes I'll be talking to someone about a particular album and I'll end up saying something like `I like the second and fourth tracks....' lol!

I often tend to treat whole albums as one unit, not breaking them up into seperate tracks! Pretty much why I've rarely participated in these sort of `top 10 favourite tracks' sort of polls!

I have all 4 albums now. Just started listening to secrets and haven't listened to Legends yet. I'm right into Princess and Masquerades. A bit early for me to name my top 10 though
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
