My personal favorite of all the Zappa tribute acts, Project Object have been performing Frank Zappa's music for many years with a revolving cast of characters under the leadership of lead guitarist Andre' Cholmondeley, and always featuring key Zappa alumni in its ranks.

This tour, beginning May 2013 is one of the most intriguing I've seen yet.  The lineup includes the following characters from Zappa bands past:

Ike Willis - guitar and vocals (as usual)
Ray White - guitar and vocals
Denny Walley - slide guitar and vocals
Ed Mann - percussion
Tom Fowler - bass

Tour dates and other info available at:

Go see them!  They're awesome!

I wish I had a bit more available cash these days.  I'd go see them next week in Northampton Mass.
Maybe I should tell my son to quit college.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Somewhere in Europe, I've lost track.  Nice shot of Ray though.
