If we're talking electronic though(which we aren't, but I digress...), then F*ck Buttons is the go-to act! Tarot Sports rank among my most treasured modern electronic albums.

f**k Buttons is good stuff. As are Fleet Foxes. Thumbs Up

Since I feel bad no one's voted yet, I'm going with Diane Young. LOL

Now I'm really intrigued. Damn I have so many freakin albums I need to get my hands on.....
That new Dutch Woodstock release with Floyd, Santana, Canned Heat etc etc is certainly one I want. Then there is the upcoming Vespero album Droga. New Lumerians album too... and I just spent a load of cash on Klaus Schulze's Shadowlands, a new vinyl copy of Helplessness Blues(quite yummy), Amon Tobin's Out from out where(if you haven't yet checked out this soon to be classic, then do so before next Tuesday) plus erm....I forget.
I keep buying music, even after starting school again. Sooooo foolish. I may end up living off canned peaches and noodles.

Whoops! Talk about getting ninja'd

Shocked

Fox hasn't listened to V dub?

I'd recommend starting with their first album.  You've gotta listen to all of them though.  They're in my top 3 indie bands for sure.

Cool to see F*ck Buttons getting some loveApprove I seem to be the only Danish person who knows about this act. Post-rock n Krautrock (minus the rock part of both genres that is) mixed with electronics. Yum yum yum.

I almost thought I was the only person in general who knew about them before now. LOL

Cool Yeah man, thanks for the rec, I definitely will. I always loved the Contra album cover. I don't know, it's just very captivating with that girl, so I'll be looking forward for that one.

It's funny because they found an 80s polaroid picture of that girl and decided to use it as their album cover, and the girl ended up suing them.
