The band was added to progfreak by Olav (Windhawk) at the end of May 2009 when their first full album 'Alconauta' was released. He also dropped a note in the RPI team thread at he same time asking that the band be filtered through them. It doesn't appear that this was picked up upon however - I didn't find any other posts in their thread relating to the band. There is a 10-track self-produced EP from 2003 (Enforce Evolve) available for free download on the band's official website: http://www.prophexy.com/discography/, as well as a couple of earlier releases from when the band was known as 'Prophecy'. A new live album 'Improvviso' (from which Sve's video above is taken) is going to be released on June 28 via Musea Records, recorded on 17 March 2012 at the Teatro San Sebastiano di Valli del Pasubio (VI).
The disc includes three new versions of tracks from the previous album "Alconauta", alongside four totally new compositions. The album also has two bonus tracks from the same concert: "Disassociation" and "Golf Girl", two songs originally recorded by Caravan, and played here alongside Richard Sinclair, founder of the British group and icon of the "Canterbury Sound". It is already possible to preorder this new album at the special price of € 15 (inclusive of shipping to Italy) by sending an email to [email protected] Here's the track 'Babba' (from the 2003 EP 'Enforce Evolve') played live @ Bruco, Vicenza (February 19th, 2011): This is 'The Itinerants', from a demo released back in the days when the band was called 'Propehcy', and they had a much more 'metal' sound than they do now: And 'Plasticosmic' (from 'Alconauta') played by the 2010 line-up: Samuel Rizza (voice) Gabriele Martelli (guitar) Alessandro Valle (bass) Diber Benghi (keyboards) Stefano Vaccari (drums) Vocalist Samuel Rizza was replaced by Luca Fattori in June 2011. The band belongs on the site for sure, but whether in RPI, or perhaps Eclectic, I really don't know. Olav might well be able to help the team out with this one...All will be revealed later on, I'm sure. Edit: Sorry about the f...ing bad language in the third video...!! The auto-censor couldn't catch THAT one!!
