The top vote getters for 1998. Chroma Key, Anathema and Morte Macabre are my top three from the list, probably in that order.

Anathema, Tortoise and Chroma Key are my top three altogether (in that order). Lovely to see all three advance to the final. Hmmm... I kinda wanna see Tortoise win this one, though, being a Midwestern boy myself.

A very close call between Morte Macabre and In Extremis. I'm going with Morte Macabre this time.

Thinking Plague is actually my favorite from the list, but Present's very close behind and I feel awful it has no votes.

I've only heard Alternative 4 and TNT, but out of those two I choose the latter.

I have to admit, this poll reminded me who the heck Morte Macabre actually is. (Anekdoten offshoot, for those that don't know.) I'd heard of them once, but never dug in because their CDs are so hard to find.
