These are the 3 highest-rated Opeth albums according to the PA ratings and reviews. Each one has an atmosphere and musical language all its own, and I'm curious to see how this poll will go, as there seems to be a lot of debate as to which album is truly their most accomplished.

My pick is Ghost Reveries. To me, it's the most musically accomplished, dynamic, balanced, and expressive of the three options. It also gets so much better with each listen, as there seems to be no end to new discoveries as more of its subtle nuances come to my attention.

I don't own Still Life, so no vote from me, but out of the other two, Blackwater Park.

At this point, I'd probably say that I've listened to Ghost Reveries the most between the three, but it's hard to say between that and Blackwater Park.  I just got Still Life this week, so I can't rule it out yet.  No vote for me just yet.

Blackwater Park is a masterpiece. Still Life is excellent but the mix is definitely a weakness. I don't like Ghost Reveries much.

This. Still Life is one of my top 3 favorite albums. Have it on vinyl too. Ghost Reveries only by hair over Blackwater Park
But now that I think of it Ghost Reveries is probably their most diverse, technical, and mature release making it maybe their best. But Still Life just has something very special to it making it their best and my favorite.

Still Life is quite overrated, it's production is very flat and boring.

Blackwater Park has one of the finest sound textures ever, simply terrific sound, and music is excellent as well.

Ghost Reveries is my least favourite 2000's Opeth record, but it has some strong points too.

I waffle back and forth between Blackwater Park & Ghost Reveries. Still Life is a great album marred by bad production.

All 3 have some of my favorite Opeth tracks, 'Bleak' probably being my all-time fave, though 'The Moor' & 'Harlequin Forest' are pretty close behind.
