Canadian folkie/singer/songwriter (but much more than that, really) Bruce Cockburn, amazing guitarist/lyricist no doubt, has an album from 1983 'The Trouble With Normal'.  There is a near-8min piece called 'Hoop Dancer'.  I always think he had a strong Prog potential whenever I hear this song.

Eight Seconds were a Canadian one-hit-wonder from the '80s. Their hit was a typical '80s style pop/rock tune called "Kiss You When It's Dangerous". This instrumental is the last song from the same album; keep in mind this came out in 1986!

The Sensational Alex Harvey Band do NOT belong on PA but they did throwout some bona fide Proggy gems down the years: (and I suspect that Alex would have redecorated anyone's cranium walls if you had suggested these were Prog)

There is an album by The Mark and clark Band, two identical twins who play piano. Most of the album is straightforward pop. However, there is one piece, called Worn-Down Piano, that is "proggy" in certain ways. I am sure you can find the video (which is animated) on YouTube.

None other than "Weird Al" Yankovic had a Frank Zappa pastiche on one of his albums (Poodle Hat, I think), called "Genius in France" that is a note-perfect exercise in creating Zappa music.  Very clever of him, I thought.

Also on the Zappa continuum, Winnipeg's The Guess Who had a 7 minute song on a fairly obscure 1974 album (Flavours) called "Long Gone" which sounds a lot like prog rock to me.  It actually incorporates a melody that sounds almost exactly like a passage from Zappa's "Adventures of Greggary Peccary" -- BEFORE Zappa's song was ever released.  Not that I'm implying any connection... but it's also worth mentioning that album has a song on it called "Dancin' Fool" -- predating Frank's song.

I haven't heard Long Gone in ages but it's stuck with me and I'd agree it's prog-leaning. Goin' a Little Crazy from "So Long Bannatyne" goes there too, with its multiple musical changes.
