Reading the thread title, I was expecting the seven record halfs from side 2 of Meddle through Animals (7 halfs if you don't count Obscured by Clouds). Some great stuff their and would also make for an interesting poll. Smile

I liked voting for the Man The Journey as it's not even halfway officially released. Unless one counts the material that turned up since, half here, half there etc.

Had PF not tended to things by halves the Ummagumma studio half could have been a great album had it been retooled as a PF vehicle rather than the 4 quarters doing things by halves. (Expecting Nick Mason to contribute half a side with only a drum kit meant he had to get his missus to do some flute so he was doing half a half. Then The Man: The Journey could have been another 2 halves with maybe the proper live album in between at the halfway point.

Half the Man Half the Journey if we're talking live bootlegs, but if we are talking the actual studio albums I guess In the Flesh Half is the Half to go for.

My fave Punk Flute period at the moment is 1969-1971. I'm not sure how that fits in. Ummagumma, the three soundtrack albums and Atom Heart MotherHeart
