A little something for everyone here. For me it's between Mahavishnu Orchestra, Anathema and Anekdoten.

Oh no, John, I totally love at least 8 of these!

This time I'm surprisingly going for the Ozrics' `Waterfall Cities', for a band I don't totally enjoy all the time (that 80's electric guitar sound sometimes rubs me the wrong way), it's one of my favourites from them, and one of their only releases where the more electronic direction totally worked on every piece. Good mix of electronic, acoustic, ethnic, and prog elements perfectly blended together.

A no doubter for and a pretty obvious choice coming from the like of me...don make fn of me guys! Lol

It's Dream Theater all the way. Scenes of a memory is incredible.
It's a real slayer in this category of albums. I would really be surprised if it did not win here. ;)

Surprising to a point, I know you and Tom Ozric like your tentacles. Okay that didn't sound right but you know what I mean.LOL

Voted for GY!BE because i've been in a PR swing compared to a Heavy Prog/Metal style.

I'm always surprised when you don't vote for the Post-Rock band, unless it's Don Caballero. Two innovative Post-Rock albums here but like you I prefer the GY!BE offering.

Top eight for me: Porcupine Tree, Anekdoten, Dream Theater (the only album by them I truly love), Camel, Godspeed, Anethema, Ozric, Liquid Tension in that order. Haven't heard the rest or not that crazy about it (Flower Kings, Sigur Ross, Opeth)

Okay who let Metal Man in ?   Surprised if they win ? Prepare to be surprised my friend.LOL
Hey I like that album too but I would pick the Metal related Anathema or LT over it. Just my tastes, as bad as they are.

I have to go with Sigur Ros, but it was tough with Opeth and Godspeed in the poll

I'll go with Rajaz just a little over Rituale Alieno. So different from each other but both are equally amazing.
