4th all-time prog classic is currently 1st in votes for the least favorite one...This is the world of paradox.

In all honesty, I am not much impressed by Tago Mago. From the results so far, I am wondering if people are even reading the actual poll question. WYWH the second least favorite album? |

There are too many albums here I have not heard, so I won't vote. However, I wonder if there aren't many people who have misundertood the poll... I refuese to believe that "Wish you were here" woult truly be "winning" (or rather losing?) this poll.

Definitely understood the poll and voted for Wish by Floyd. Respectfully, I just don't like them or that album. Love Tago Mago (one of my all time faves) and really like Islands (Formentara Lady alone is worth the price of the album) and a few others. Even like Floating quote a bit; it's an earlier album, before they went a bit over the top IMO. Would never vote for Tarkus in this poll because, while ELP may have lost the plot a bit later on, the sidelong epic on this album is still great after all these years. It actually rocks and has some balls; the Floyd album (and Floyd as a whole) just doesn't -- again, IMO.

troll most likely but credit for editing the original question so as to spark a load of confused comments about why areTarkus and WYWH so unpopular. Clever

This is a list that I mostly love. I have liked and owned all of these albums, and respect all of them, but my least favourite on the list is Tarkus. Even when I was still big on ELP that album didn't really click, and now ELP has lust its lustre for me. My particular favourites are Third, Tago Mago, You, Islands, and Sing to God.

Can't understand the Tarkus vote; then again, people are entitled to dislike what they want, but ELP get such unfair criticism.

The worst thing is that he isn't really an interesting troll.

But in the end PF is one of the most loved prog bands around, even in this forum, and WYWH is their best rated album on PA. And there are a lot of albums on this thread. So, it just seems strange that it has so many votes, actually winning (or losing). But then, I guess it would be kind of impossible to know if the results are real indeed, or people got confused. I would be rather surprised if they were real indeed. Of course, I'm kind of biased because WYWH is actually among my very favourite albums.

Islands is my least favorite on the list. Haven't heard Can Tag Mago, Cardiacs Sing to God, or Yezda Urfa Boris. I would like to see Hawkwind and Van der Graaf Generator on the list to take some shots.

I don't understand the negativity here. To vote for your least favourite (or worst) from this list is not at all the same as saying you don't like it. It could be your 10th favourite album of all time.
