Frank, then Napoleon, but I love the gamut.
Although - I listened to Valley Girl the other day for the first time in decades and I couldn't even get through it. I thought it was hilarious at the time but now...

Moon Unit fer sure, fer sure.

I guess he doesn't actually sing.  Isn't he on other Zappa tunes too ?

He also does the spoken intro to "The Illinois Enema Bandit" live version on Lather.  Guess I should have made Don Pardo another option LOL

I just appreciate the info, I was sure he was on more than just Punky's Whips so thanks again.

Ike Willis is one of my favorites but Napoleon Murphy Brock takes the cake for me

Tough poll, my faves are Ray Collins, Frank Z, Roy Estrada (despite his pre-disposition, his demented vocals on 'I Come From Nowhere' are totally nuts LOL), and Ike Willis.

My favourite Roy Estrada moment is on the FZ "Mystery Disc" during the "Mother's Stage Play" sequence:

Roy: "Ian, I don't think I qualify for the Mothers."
FZ: "They're making up their lines as they go along, isn't it thrilling?"
Roy: "I think I'm holding the group back cause I'm a Mexican...and also because I don't play bass good."

LOL

Oh boy, too many to choose.

Adrian Belew - "City Of Tiny Lights"
Captain Beefheart - "Poofter's Froth Wyoming Plans Ahead"
Flo & Eddie - "Tell Me You Love Me"
Frank Zappa - "My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama"
Ike Willis - "Stick It Out"
Napoleon Murphy Brock - "Village Of The Sun"
Ray Collins - "Duke Of Prunes"
Ricky Lancelotti - "Fifty-Fifty"
Terry Bozzio - "Trying To Grow A Chin"
Tina Turner - "I'm The Slime" (yes, it's just a backing role, but, seriously, it's Tina Turner)

This isn't working as multiple choice for me. I can only get one choice to go. I don't know if it's because I'm using an iPhone or what. I voted for Napolean Murphy Brock. Great to hear him again with Zappa plays Zappa. I'd also vote for Frank, naturally, George Duke, Captain Beefhart and Adrian Belew.

Napoleon and Frank's 1974 "Finnish room service" routine never fails to wipe me out LOL

That was Napoleon. And Jeff Simmons is the guy who gets him to smoke it.

My favorite vocalist on that list is probably Captain Beefheart, but not so much for his contributions to Zappa's music. I'm going with Napoleon, Ike and Frank himself.
