Iron Giant was a very cool film. It reminded me of the '60s Johnny Sokko ("Giant Robot!") episodes which were edited into a feature-length movie called Voyage Into Space.

I prefer Titan A.E.. Not the most original story, but it's a legitimate animated SF movie, not kiddie fare.
