Which of these do you like best?

Sorry that there's no reason for these being compared except that I'm waiting for all of these in the mail so I wanted to know what people's favorites of these are, and what you think about them. Hopefully that's okay--making a poll just for that reason. Plenty of these polls seem pretty random to me. I think the last three have an obvious advantage over the others here. I'm rooting for Earth Moving anyway. Everyone loves an underdog.
I can't wait to hear all of these!

Yes, I think this may be one of the best orders of music I've made yet. I feel confident I'll love all of it (my expectations for Earth Moving aren't exactly high, but I love Mike Oldfield so much I'm trying to get everything in chronological order and I think I'll like anything he does).

Can't wait to hear Godbluff. And this will not only be my first experience of PFM, but the first RPI album I'll have ever heard!

They're not called Giant for nothing! The Power and the Glory wins this easily for me.

I am getting into PFM more now, so Per Un Amico has risen from 3 to 4 stars in my estimation. I also like the two Oldfield albums, but the other three do nothing for me.

Islands is a great album, especially The Wind Chimes. It is amazing. Earth Moving is truly awful though and it isn't easy for me to say  that being a huge fan of Mike.

Godbluff out of these.

As artists go I much prefer Mike Oldfield in your list - the bloke's a genius.

But I'm afraid I think the two you've ordered (Islands and Moving Earth) are amongst his weakest efforts (IMHO). Are these two albums completing your Oldfield collection - because he has done so much better.

I'm going in chronological order actually. A lot of times if I like a musician/ band enough and know I'm going to get all of their albums at some point, I like to get them in order so that while I'm discovering their music, I'm also noticing how they developed as composers and musicians. Just a personal preference. So it is to complete the collection, just more early on : )
I think I'll at least really like Islands. None of his works have disappointed me yet. Discovery is also rated pretty low, but I really like about half of it and the rest is still okay to me.

Well I hope you enjoy them both.

I actually think some of his ratings on this site are on the low side. As you say, Discovery should be higher and I think Platinum also (IMHO).

I'm particularly surprised that Hergest Ridge and Incantations are rated below a 4. Each to their own of course...

Western Culture, easily my favorite HC album.  Pity I haven't listened to it in ages.
