Hi Svetonio
I have an interest in many forms of music but in my formative years I listened mainly to Genesis, Yes, Rush, Pink Floyd and Blue Oyster Cult. I don't ever feel particularly influenced musically by anyone when I'm writing but I'm sure they must be in there somewhere. In 2010 I made a drastic life change, swapping finance management for music and 'This Long Night' is the second album released as Mike Kershaw.
I have an EP (titled Winter) coming out on 11th November 2013 which contains an eclectic trio of songs based on winter/seasonal themes but I will release the follow up album to 'This Long Night' in May 2014 which will be titled 'Ice Age'.
The link below is an album review by Jim Lawson who presents The Ancient One progressive rock show.

Doesn't look as though they're going to be added there though - a single 'no' vote is enough to derail the suggestion as things stand at the moment with the Crossover boys operating as a team of four:

Actually, now it's just 3 members. We'll get better eventually. Clearing/rejecting bands is kind of postponed right now, we're waiting for new blood into the team.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Well, despite the presence of the 'no' vote, they are now showing in the progfreak chart as cleared. Ermm Crossover are back to a four-man team with Diego having joined them quite recently and adding his 'yes' to the above chart, so let's hope that one 'no' vote in a four-man team is indeed no longer the kiss of death it once was! Smile
