Relayer is an incredible album and I think he was better for the band than
Wakeman.
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity

Listened to both Mainhorse and the Story Of I this week, I'm still sticking with Refugee, but wonder if this poll has any takers ...
"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

I have only Yes (relayer) and Moody Blues. But I voted for Yes (Relayer).

Moraz is one of the first 5 keyboard players of all time!!!

Yes - Relayer

I love Wakeman as much as the next guy but it was somewhat apperent that he wasnt feeling it too much on TFTO so I think it was like a breath of fresh air to have someone come in and contribute so well to the next album. His work is fresh and wonderful.
If it ain't broke don't break it.

Apparently? Not looking too much in TFTO?

That's very polite, literally Rick said that TFTO was a pile of sh!t and that was the reason he left Yes.

Quote WAKEMAN: I love Yes dearly, but I didn't enjoy Topographic Oceans. At the time I actually said it was an over-padded pile of sh*t. Those were the days when things were very black and white; we weren't mature enough to sit down and discuss things.

The first three Moraz albums were quiet enjoyable, albeit undeniably Latin influenced. They would easily rate 3-4 stars. On Relayer - I'd say - he did his best, though.

I was put off Refugee a long time ago. Maybe Lee Jackson? I can't remember, not having a copy anymore.

The Gates of Delirium ALONE merit my vote on Relayer... I just go crazy listening to that battle section, even though it's not actually that keyboard heavy. Big smile
