To be honest, I prefer any of their pop stuff above their newer prog releases (Fly From Here... ew). Not that the 80s stuff is amazing, but I find it decently enjoyable from time to time and appreciate some of the New Wave influence.

I'm so fanboy to have attempted Rabin's 90124 but not so fanboy to have liked it...90125 it's 80s and a bit cheesy (but a lot of Anderson's output is cheesy even in the 70s). It's less cheesy than Big Generator and has songs like "Leave It". Compare this album with the general poorness of the first half of the 80s. In its age it has been a great album. Think to Abacab, Time Line and Love Beach.

i dont remember someone_else putting down Thick As A Brick as best prog album ever in his opinion (that was Close to the Edge), apparently it was some sort of glitch

I used to like The yes album the most, then fragile and close to the edge. But these days i listen to Time and a word more than those with Dear father included.
I'd say my fave 5 in order are:

Time and a word remaster
The yes album
Fragile
Close to the edge
Tomato remaster

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

It's between CttE and Relayer for me, the only two Yes albums I think are close to being worth five stars. I'll go with CttE today.
