Great cover, perfect track lengths, and hopefully a continuing of BoE in style. Lets make this a streak, 2 albums from these guys that I would like? Blasphemy.

Hopefully they keep Stolt on guitar and have the lead singer... Sing.

Good to see no potentially long boring tracks. I didn't like Numbers at all but the rest of Banks Of Eden impressed me.

Oh this is completely intolerable...   For the first time ever:

I completely agree with my good friend, Horizons. Confused

the track names are very unlike the Flower Kings that I know of. They are pretty dark. Sleeping bones? Desolation? Resurrected Judas, Dark Fascist sky? Blood of Eden (a nice nod to the previous album here), and silent graveyard? I mean what happened to all those cosmic stuffs from Stolt and gang?

To me, the Flower Kings have always been at their best when their music is full of optimism, light, and spirituality.

"Dark" is such an easy cliché these days. Dark is neither new nor surprising. Hopelessness is easy to come by.

I guess I would rather listen to Roine Stolt complain for an hour than anyone else, but now, I do not have high hopes for this album.

What usually goes along with The Flower King's "darker" pieces is a sound that is more metal/hard prog than symphonic, which is also usually a disappointment.

The Flower Kings needed to develop a harder edge imo. Glass Hammer have the cosmic side of symph prog well covered already. TFK music is often too unstructured for my liking. Coming up to date shows what a great guitarist Roine Stolt is now he is not so lost in a sea of tranquillitySmile
