For the past couple of weeks, Arjen Lucassen has been slowly revealing details of the forthcoming Ayreon album "The Theory of Everything". Now it can be announced the album will be released on the 28th October and a full track-listing can be found below. Arjen had this to say about the album:

With four long epics of more than 20 minutes and loads of instrumental passages, this is probably my most proggy release so far. I'm extremely proud of the eclectic list of guest musicians spanning several decades; many dreams have come true this time. There's also a completely new story line to delve into, a drama exploring the complicated world of science and human emotions. My advice? Sit back, relax, headphones on, and let this album take you on a musical adventure!

There's been a thread about this very topic going on for several months already. At this moment, it is the very last topic on the first page of this same "News" section from the forum.

Posted on YouTube today by InsideOutMusicTV...This is an extract from the 20-plus minute track, "Phase 1: Singularity." It combines The Theory of Everything parts 1 and 2, and features vocals by Michael Mills as the Father, and Cristina Scabbia as the Mother. The piano was played by Rick Wakeman:

Unfortunately it's not properly prog, but if you like Cristina Scabbia as singer, you may give a try to Lacuna Coil.
