Love this poll, really. 1970 - Lennon had that iconic beard, McCartney was rocking the lengthy hair, Ringo had dat stache, and Harrison was truly "hippie".

'66 for me. Shaggy but not overly Jesusy. And I'm not much of a mustache fan.

Great idea for a poll. 1968 looks the coolest. Later Beatles but not the heavy beards.

The last photo shoot of The Beates all together was in August 1969, and the 4 of them never recorded a song together in 1970. The last recording with 3 of them was Jan 4, 1970.....John was missing. So the 1970 version of The Beatles, as depicted here never actually existed.....it's definitely 1969. Sorry to be a stickler!

This is from their final photo shoot and it is August 22nd 1969; it was not taken in 1970. They were never photographed together again after this date i.e. August 22nd 1969.....well not as an entity called "The Beatles" anyway.

I believe you, BarryGlibb. I vote 1970 in this poll with its inaccurate graphics, because I like "Beatles' look" on this photo from 1969.

I guess we don't really know what their look was in 1970. For all we know Paul had a mohawk. I like the Pepperland '67 look.

I thought they looked really cool on the cover of BEATLES FOR SALE...so I guess I'll go for 65'. That cover has a look of gloom and probably that look is from Beatlemania taking it's toll. They look rather interesting on Rubber Soul too. At any rate...that was a magical period for me. A short lived transitional period where they had yet to enter the psychedelic phase..but were no longer playing and writing in the same way they did on Hard Day's Night.
