Poll #39.
The World Team sports some truly great albums against PA's favorite DT release. Good luck Team Prog!

Don't know that Monk album but I probably vote for it if I knew it. Don't care for most of these. DT I guess, but I won't vote.

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Monk
It's classic Monk at the peak of his playing....at least that's what most critics say.
I haven't played any Monk for a long time but I used to play him a lot in the late 80's when I was buying a lot of jazz.

Whoa, once again voting classical. Romeo and Juliet is great stuff. Still, DT deserves admiration too.

Prokofiev, yet another classical composer to get the 'ELP treatment'. Also his music was used in the very popular seventies TV series The Onedin line (the same theme was also in the semi porn film Caligula ).

You don't mean the main theme from Onedin Line, do you? Because that was from Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian from the Spartacus ballet

Not the first time I've made that same mistake. I seem to be convinced in my mind that it was Prokofiev

Probably because he's a very proggy composer. It's even in his name, Prog-ofiev
