Really sad news. I saw this on Facebook earlier this evening and everyone was saying it was a hoax.
I guess not. Unhappy

Woke up this morning with Lou's song "Makeup" in my head for unknown reason. I was singing it as I got ready for work and while riding my motorbike to work. I get into work and my wife phones to tell me Lou Reed has died.
Spooky.
Rip Lou.
Loved you forever.

Sad to hear about this today. RIP Lou Reed.

I actually saw this on another website. Sad news. I was going to post it in non prog but now I don't have to. Anyway, VU were a very important band and very experimental for their time period apparently.

He's been really sick for some time--he and his wife used to go to my gym--used to see them all the time and he didn't look in great shape then---Laurie Anderson held up better with age--they also had the same breed of dog as I had and our dogs met--their's wasn't too friendly with mine howeverSmilebut since his liver transplant early this year---things have been mostly down hill---RIP Lou.

Real sad news,

It was only the other day I was thinking if Lou was planning to release any new material soon.

Sadly Not.

RIP New York City Man.

So sad... just in the past day or two I've been experiencing some of his lyrics in a very personal way. The verse from pale blue eyes:

If I could make the world as pure and strange as what I see, I'd put you in the mirror I put in front of me.

Rest in peace

It sucks that no one has commented. RIP Lou
