This album is FEROCIOUS and needs to get much more attention here! Is it possible to edit the topic title to include Jazz Fusion as well, if that's what it takes?

So, I bought this album and it's really nice. However, it's very much in the One Shot vein so I think JR/F should have a go at an eval.

Hi,
Really surprised this band isn't here already. Their debut self-titled album is out this year on Soleilzeuhl Records, who describe them thusly: "Led by Philippe Gleizes (drummer for Médéric Collignon, and also for Christian Vander in the newly reformed Offering), the music of Caillou reminds the fury of 70s avant-jazz-rock bands that mixed different genres in a powerful collision. Anyone into One Shot and HEAVY electric fusion will love that one." Excerpts from the new album are posted here. |
