I'll keep this brief, since we don't actually have a New Suggestions monitor at the moment...

Futurian is essentially two guitarists (Austin Chappell and Brennan Coombs), based near Toronto, Canada, aided by some additional highly accomplished contributions from a bassist, pianist and drummer. Their EP 'Caveman Vs Spaceman' is a 'name your price' download on bandcamp: http://futurian.bandcamp.com/

And a sample from their next EP:

Not bad at all...I know that the PE and Krautrock teams don't favour these free and ''name your price'' downloads, and that Symph tend to take a dim view of them too, but I'm not sure what the PM team stance on the matter is.  Ermm

They must have re-located, Thanos. It used to say they were based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, & our sister site added them using this info: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/artist/futurian. The facebook link given on their bandcamp is an old one too: http://www.facebook.com/futurian - the correct one now is: https://www.facebook.com/WeAreFuturian. Can't find any references at all on the web now with Johannesburg, Gauteng for them - or news that they have moved. Very strange...will try to find out more after work in the morning - if necessary I will contact them via facebook. Thumbs Up

Yeah - they are from Canada, not South Africa. I've amended the original post to indicate this and passed on some info via p.m. to help with the writing of a bio. Embarrassed
