From last.fm:

Faced with an increasingly stagnant post-hardcore landscape, Philadelphia-based five-piece 20 Days In formed in June 2010 as an effort to channel a wide range of influences toward a new, unique, and accessible direction. The result has yielded a sound that is both refreshingly diverse and comfortingly familiar in its innovative union of post-hardcore, indie, and alternative rock.

20 Days In’s bold strides have been received warmly, calling to mind for many the qualities of Circa Survive, Tool, Dance Gavin Dance, and Avenged Sevenfold, among many others. With such a broad and rich array of techniques and influences to draw from, it is impossible to predict precisely how 20 Days In will sound next, but one thing is certain: you haven’t heard anything quite like it before.

With comparisons to Circa Survive, Coheed, and Tool (to a lesser extent on the last one), they are certainly very outside the box in terms of songwriting, structure, and musicality, indeed sounding very similar to Circa Survive with the tempo/time shifts of Coheed and the occasional depth of Tool. I would think them an adequate addition to Xover.

And all their stuff is on bandcamp as 'name your price' downloads: http://20daysin.bandcamp.com/, so no problem with evaluation samples.

Let's wait a few days and see if anyone from the Crossover team picks the suggestion up - if not, you could try a p.m. to Marty McFly, who is their team leader. Smile

Sadly they didn't make it. Two 'no' votes, two 'yes' votes...Needed a third 'yes', but it didn't come. Cry
