^ Blame it on a very subtle headline.

Anyway, congrats, Magnus! You've made the whole country proud and crazy about chess!

There's no-one left alive - must be draw.

Congratulations, Magnus Carlsen!

6-3. I feel a bit sorry for Anand. It was an entertaining game and Vishy really tried, but he was running out of time and his last move was a blunder.

Anand disappointed me today. Even I could see that 60. Ra4? was a very bad move. c2-c4 could still have led to a draw. Now I’m afraid the match is over, unless Vishy suddenly starts playing much better and Magnus gets complacent and sloppy.

"Magnus pulls a rabbit out of a hat, endgame magic."

Now it will be extremely difficult for Vishy.

I say that voøictoruøy probably tastes good, but victory tastes better! Anyway, they still have seven more games to play. A positive effect of today’s result is that Anand is now forced to play more offensive. I think we have some interesting and entertaining games in store.

So far they have both shown their almost superhuman defensive strength. Magnus impressed me in the 3rd game when he managed to turn the tables at a point where I was more or less certain that the gentleman from India would win, and Vishy impressed me in the 4th when Magnus seemed to have the advantage.

As a Norwegian, I hope for Magnus, but I won’t shed any tears if Vishy wins. He’s been a favourite of mine for many years, and I would probably have had a much better time with him than with Magnus if I happened to meet any of them. Vishy is into literature and music, and that makes for much more interesting conversations than chess and football.

Who will win? My guess is Magnus Carlsen. But I won’t put my money on either of them.
