Maybe these picks are too obscure but I rate 2 of them 4.5 stars and one 5 stars.
Going with Art Zoyd but i'll be interested in who will take this.

Not a big fan of Iceberg. Hard to choose between the three others, but Il Paese De Balocchi is one of my first RPI album and one of the most mysterious disc I know.

I voted for the Italians too Pierre. Funnily enough, this was also one of the first RPI acquisitions I ever made. Haven't looked back ever since tbh ![]() IPDB's selftitled is an album I hear as being in the same modern classical ballpark as Celeste's debut along with the Spanish act Los Canarios' Ciclos. All three albums are the bee's knees. Wonderful combinations of classical music and rock.

I agree. Pure, imaginative, respectful but distant. The seal of italians.

I don't know Il Paese Dei Balocchi or Iceberg, but of the other two, both have been favourite albums of mine, but I have often listed Generation Sans Futur as my particular favourite album, and I can't think of any album in my collection that I find more essential than it. I've been listening to it regularly for seven years, and I can't say that for many albums. Actually, though, I listen to the B side more regularly since I don't always have patience for the A side.

If that Art Zoyd album wasn't on here i'd take the Italians. Man it's such an adventerous work that is often dark plus there's that chamber vibe to it. I think I originally gave it 5 stars but dropped it to 4.5. Amazing stuff.

I'd have been shocked if you didn't pick Art Zoyd Greg. Well I didn't see Sloche taking this even though I rate it very highly. Any of these deserve to move on though.

I also quite like the patchy cover art - really suits the music in some strange way. Makes it all the more surreal - sitting there listening to this eerie floating music while staring at something that looks like a slice of hippy handbag
