CRS News - ALAN REED electric plus support from Red Bazar this Saturday 

Come to the gig and get Alan’s new EP for free! 

We have three more gigs to come this Autumn, so let's make the run up to Christmas a big success. 

30th November 2013 - Alan Reed and Band 

The Wesley Centre, Blyth Road, Maltby, Rotherham, S66 8JD, UK 

£12.65 advance (£10 for CRS members) / £14 on the door 

Doors open at 7pm 

This weekend sees a rare opportunity to see former Pallas front man Alan Reed in full electric splendour with his group the Daughters of Expediency. The band includes Touchstone / Final Conflict drummer Henry Rodgers, and the set will include both Pallas material and tracks from Alan's superb debut solo album "First in a Field of One". Alan is also excited to announce that Touchstone's Kim Seviour will be joining The Daughters of Expediency onstage to guest on additional vocals. 

If you enjoyed Alan on his recent tour as special guest to Steve Hackett, which included an appearance at The Royal Albert Hall, then you'll know what the fuss is about and those that saw his full band debut at this year's Celebr8 Festival witnessed something very special indeed. So let's make one of Prog's great voices and personalities very welcome. 

Watch out also for Alan's EP "Live in Liverpool", recorded on the Hackett tour, and consisting of his entire set, warts and all. To mark its release, a FREE download of the EP will be given to ALL those who attend Alan's gig this weekend! On entry you will be given a flyer with a unique download code for the EP, so make sure you are there! If you're not, you won't get one!! 

Support comes from excellent instrumental Prog band Red Bazar making their debut at the CRS.

The night before the Alan Reed gig sees the return of Mostly Autumn to the Citadel in St Helens. This should be another amazing night. 

7th December 2013 - Oliver Wakeman, Gordon Giltrap and Paul Manzi

A welcome return for Gordon and Oliver, this time ably assisted by Arena vocalist Paul Manzi.
