I really like this one too. It brings back strong memories of late night radio in the mid '70's. It reminds me a little of Lucifer's Friend. There seems to be no trace of it anywhere on the net which is surprising when you consider it's strength. The singer is great - love when he sings "Fire" (I think).

That IS a mystery! Sounds like late 70s prior to the big disco wave in 1979. Great song but I have never heard of it. It sounded like the music of Earth Wind and Fire and then the vocals are more like the 70s rock of Budgie or early Deep Purple. Great voice but I am not sure who that is. It must be a 70s band, not a solo artist as the band are so good at their craft. i ran a search on the lyrics but nothing came up. They maybe a US or UK band. Not Australian I dont think...

The lyrics are perhaps:

We are, well I'll tell you, there's a fire, that's your body,
but it's gonna see you through, oh, it's gonna see you through
many crazy people want to change places with you

i will keep hunting this one

I don't think this is a prog band but I could be wrong. I don't recognise the song and neither did Shazam. Also Google doesn't find anything definite for the lyrics, still someone here may recognise it.

I have spent some time yesterday to try to unveil the mystery. I used fragments from the lyrics on three different search engines, but without result.

I want to share a few thoughts on this song: it seems to me somathing in the vein of Steely Dan or the Doobie Brothers. It does not need to be from 1976; it may be somewhat earlier, lets's say between 1970 and 1976.

If I might get some new ideas to identify this song I'll keep searching.

Hi all ,

- maybe you're the right team  which can help me solve the mystery..

I´m trying  to identify "mystery song" for years -from a tape recorded  in 1976-1977- radio Luxembourg.

Part of  lyrics- „comes after you, that ´s my fire that´s your body

body´s gonna feed through gonna feed  through ("we're gonna see it through" )

Many crazy people wanted chafe ?( change ) places with you“

Youtube link- sorry for poor quality(accelerated- I think)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSyug3T70Ds

Do you   know anything about this song? Ring any bells?

I'm sorry once again, but I do not know where to ask

Thanks, Jara. (sorry for my English)
